Being an Employee Relations Advisor & Coordinator



The Employee Relations Advisor & Coordinator will join our dynamic People & Culture team and be a part of building positive workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and heard.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in Employee Relations (ER) and to support in promoting fair, consistent, and people-focused employment practices across our organisation. You'll be the first point of contact for Employee Relations (ER) queries, providing support to the team and colleagues, maintaining accurate records, and supporting case management.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to foster trust and collaborate effectively with senior managers and HR colleagues.

What you'll do



Act as the first point of contact for ER queries, provide standard policy guidance and triage accordingly. Support casework by maintaining accurate records in our iTrent HRIS system and monitoring case deadlines. Produce timely and accurate data reports for the ER Manager Coordinate ER meetings, hearings, and investigations and liaising with managers, union representative and colleagues to ensure smooth and fair processes by managing documentation and recordings, gather evidence, and assisting with investigation reports. Maintain accurate records in the iTrent CMS, monitor alerts and tight deadlines, and compile regular absence and pay reports, ensuring GDPR-complaint data handling. Prepare confidential case documents, maintain templates, and ensure alignment with current policies. Contribute to ad hoc HR initiatives and projects as needed.
You will support the Employee Relations Manager, Senior ER Business Partners, and ER Business Partner to ensure an inclusive culture at KFRS.

What you'll bring



A strong understanding of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practice. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across the organisation. Proven experience managing ER or HR casework and working with HR systems (ideally iTrent). High attention to detail and confidence handling confidential data. A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
