About The Role



Knight Frank is looking to hire an Employee Relations Advisor to join their Head Office in Baker Street.


Role:



We are seeking an individual who can support the Head of Employee Relations in ER and HR activity across the UK Knight Frank Business. Additionally working with the HR Business Partner team to ensure seamless HR support for our clients, which is consistent and in keeping with best practice.


Responsibilities:



Regions



To support the regional offices as with London, offering a consistent level of support and advice across divisions.

Employee Relations



To support and advise the business on dealing with all Employee Relations matters as directed, including but not limited to, investigations, disciplinary matters, grievances, probation management, wellbeing and absence management, flexible working, performance improvement and change and redundancy procedures (both collective and individual) as neededBuilding excellent stakeholder relationships with leaders and managers of Knight Frank, establishing credibility as a trusted advisor Ensuring advice reflects HR best practice and employment law, whilst balancing risk and commercial considerations Ensuring an understanding of employment law developments and changes are understood, and reflected in ER practice Support the HR Business Partner and Head of Employee Relations with Settlement Agreements; including the drafting of agreements, coordinating the administration of the employee's exit from the Firm and settlement monies in a timely manner. To assist TUPE projects as and when required. To assist with Business Change initiatives were needed Supporting the Head of Employee Relations with Employment Tribunal activity as needed

Systems and Management Information



Ensure a full and accurate record is maintained of employee relations case data Ensure case records and documents are accurately and appropriately stored and filed Support the provision of Employee Relations data and reports as and when requested, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, including trend information as applicable Maintenance of Management Information database in order to provide reports for the HR Business Partner and Group Head of HR to use for Department Head and Sub Divisional Head meetings.

Employment Policy



Assisting with the administration of the Knight Frank HR policy pages Assisting the Head of Employee Relations with policy development for Knight Frank, including understanding of legislative compliance best practice, benchmarking and drafting of employment policies Understanding developments in Employment law, and their potential impact on policy and practice

Required professional experience and personal skills



Employee Relations and Employment Law knowledge gained through employee relations specialist, generalist experience or through relevant experience in a management or legal role preferably in a fast moving and commercial environment Experience of ER case management and working in partnership with business managers. Strong commercial approach with a good understanding of business needs, whilst also balancing risk considerations Experience of coaching and influencing line managers Excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and manage workload to deliver to tight deadlines Ability to clearly and accurately interpret and communicate relevant and complex information Ability to establish credibility quickly by building effective working relationships Strong team approach Solution focus with good problem solving abilities Ideally CIPD qualified (desirable)
