Summary
We are seeking an Employee Relations Manager to support Business Partner Teams in the provision of a specialised, responsive and consistent HR service to care groups and corporate directorates. This service will focus on employee relations matters, terms and conditions of service and related workforce initiatives through a business partner model. To work within Trust policies/procedures and employment law under supervision, but at times autonomously, taking advice from senior colleagues as required.
Responsibilities
To provide timely, consistent and appropriate advice and support for managers on a range of employee relations matters (specifically, disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and attendance, capability, bullying/harassment)
To assist managers in suspension meetings, and support the investigation into allegations relating to disciplinary, grievance or harassment cases and support with the completion of all associated documentation.
Actively participate in developing team working across the BP Team and Services Team to provide a consistent, efficient and effective, high quality HR service with a strong customer services focus.
To provide support to managers in preparing any reports/case presentation and assist panels in consideration of evidence associated with disciplinary, grievance, capability and harassment issue. Provide support to managers in presenting and hearing appeals against dismissals and other sanctions.
