We're looking for someone who's passionate about supporting people and helping managers navigate employee relations with care, fairness and confidence. As an Employee Relations Advisor at Travelodge, you'll play a key role in ensuring every colleague is treated with respect and that our approach is balanced, consistent and human. You'll be part of a supportive central ER team, working together on a wide range of cases, from day-to-day matters to more complex situations.
What's it all about?
As an Employee Relations Advisor, you'll lead and manage a variety of ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, whistleblowing. You'll carry out fact-finding, support complex or high-risk cases, and work closely with legal partners on ACAS, Employment Tribunal claims, and Settlement Agreements. You'll provide clear case updates, support a busy inbox, and take calls alongside a small, collaborative ER team. Beyond casework, you'll help coach and build the confidence of managers through our 'Managing Your People' programme, and support colleagues in the People Team on lower complexity activity. You'll also contribute to wider HR initiatives, like policy development and training, to equality, diversity, and inclusion work, while keeping accurate case data and sharing insights that help us learn and improve.

We call this "Better Me".
Who will this appeal to?
This role would suit someone with a strong foundation in employee relations and a solid understanding of employment law, including experience with ACAS processes and employment tribunals. They'll thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and be confident managing sensitive or complex situations with care, clarity and good judgement. The right person will be comfortable working independently, making sound decisions, and challenging others constructively to guide them toward fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
