This role is part of the Employee Relations Team under Corporate Functions HRA team.





Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:




Case Management

UK - Own and manage the end-to-end UK ER caseload (disciplinary, grievance, and appeal) in compliance with the ACAS Code of Practice and the Employment Rights Act (ERA) 1996. This includes coaching Managers throughout processes, sitting in on formal hearings (taking notes/supporting), drafting formal outcomes (in liaison with Legal), and ensuring procedural compliance and consistent application of policy. EMEA - Conduct thorough and fair investigations specifically focusing on matters such as improper workplace behaviour and workplace conflicts

+ Engage in aftercare process to ensure recommendations on cases and issues are effective in the long term.
+ Apply conflict resolution techniques to solve employee-manager and employee-employee issues or other situational conflicts and liaise when necessary with external mediators

Culture risk insights


+ Analyze case data to identify common themes or trends in employee relations issues across the Business and take a proactive approach to prevent issues from recurring
+ Conduct climate analysis across businesses on a need-to-need basis
+ Create quarterly reporting dashboards highlighting trends and concerns in the UK, feeding into the broader EMEA/Global reporting structure.
+ Lead or support ER initiatives and projects aimed at mitigating risk, improving processes, or enhancing the employee experience

Stakeholder Collaboration & Training


+ Ensure local UK processes, particularly those adhering to ACAS regulations, are harmonized with global reporting and investigations requirements.
+ Collaborate closely with Employment Law and Compliance & Ethics teams on complex cases and high-risk matters, including preparation for potential Employment Tribunals.
+ Deliver training, coaching, and workshops to people managers on best-practice employee relations topics, including the ACAS code, investigation techniques, and conducting disciplinary/grievance hearings.
+ Build manager capability and confidence in resolving employee-manager and employee-employee conflicts using effective conflict resolution techniques

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Masters degree or JD strongly preferred 5-8 years of relevant job experience In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law, including the ACAS Code of Practice, Employment Rights Act 1996, and the Equality Act 2010. Strong experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Compliance and/or Legal, including specific experience leading workplace investigations Strong interpersonal skills to get meaningful answers during interviews/investigation. Ability to develop trusted partnerships with HR and other stakeholders Exceptional judgment, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters Demonstrated experience working with data and metrics for reporting or influencing change Experience presenting trainings, workshops, and others programs Ability to navigate tensions between legal requirements and business outcomes while maintaining positive relationships
