Title: Employee Relations Team Leader


Contracts: Permanent, Part-Time (Job)


Hours: 21 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday)


Reporting Office: Stratford, London or Trafford, Greater Manchester


Persona: Agile (20-40% in office and 3-4 days working from home)


Salary: Starts from 47,135 FTE per annum (London)


41,168 FTE per annum (Outside London)

This role involves leading a team of Employee Relations specialists and partnering with HR leadership and business leaders to ensure a positive work environment, mitigate risks, resolve workplace conflicts, and ensure legal compliance regarding employment law and organisational policies whilst ensuring all casework is effectively and efficiently managed.


The Employee Relations Team Leader will provide strategic guidance, support management in addressing employee concerns, and help create a culture of trust, fairness, and collaboration.

You will have a proactive and highly professional approach with drive and enthusiasm to champion the service and the way we deliver to our stakeholders.


Your Impact in the Role:


Lead and manage a team of Employee Relations specialists. Proactively assist, advise, support and coach people managers in relation to employment law, employee relations and performance management issues, acting as lead casework advisor. Produce and analyse management information relating to staff turnover, sickness absence etc. Providing support to the wider HR Team to achieve its objective in relation to the directorates business plan and other related projects for which some project management experience would be an advantage An important aspect of this role will be to work with the HR Team to ensure that people capabilities are developed to deliver strategic goals and objectives across the business.




You must be CIPD level 5 qualified for this role and have experience leading on complex case work in a multi-site, diverse operation.



You will be expected to travel to other offices within the group as determined by business need.
