Our Maxim Department are excited to announce that we are looking for a team member to join the department as a Employer Engagement Officer.

The Role

To support the Maxim Business Training team in the successful achievement of all Employer Responsive contracts, by ensuring the effective recruitment of employers for training programmes to be delivered against all funding streams.


Duties will include liaising with and supporting employers in identifying and meeting their business needs.


Working with candidates who have applied for apprenticeship opportunities to identify appropriate positions and supporting them to prepare for interview.


This role also involves carrying out presentations and undertaking training needs analyses in light of business objectives to ensure that contract demands for all funding streams are successfully achieved.

Main Duties for this role include

Liaise with and support employers in identifying their business needs and to work with the delivery manager to meet those needs


Promote employer responsive provision by telephone and other media, and obtain opportunities for promotion of apprenticeship opportunities.


Working with the recruitment team, identify suitable candidates for apprenticeship vacancies and support learners with applications and interviews.


Ensure effective and efficient engagement and recruitment of employers


Carry out presentations and conduct training needs analyses in the light of business objectives and successfully meet contract demands for all funding streams.
