We have a fantastic opportunity to join our exceptional Apprenticeships and Business Development department as an Employer Relationship Officer.


The Employer Relationship Officer will be responsible for managing the colleges relationships with external stakeholders, particularly employers on a district, regional and national scale.


You will be responsible for lead generation in relation to apprenticeship income and will maximise the colleges employer facing activities.

Responsibilities include:



To have a strong understanding of brokering relationships with employers and other key stakeholders, developing timely pipeline to lead to the successful completion of the project. To gain an understanding of the auditable requirements of any new apprentice and employer looking to begin an apprenticeship. To ensure staff within the Compliance Team are provided with all applicant data in a timely manner to ensure the smooth and effective transition from application to live apprentice. To ensure the projects Key performance indicators are met and strive to exceed. To review monthly targets and ensure activity is taking place to create a healthy pipeline of new business. To maximise the local opportunities available for employers and applicants, whilst ensuring the on boarding process is robust and in line with funding and audit requirements. Understanding and articulating the bursaries available to employers and applicants via this project. Responsible for keying data for apprenticeship enrolment/employer incentives and all other DAS related requirements

Education & Training



GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test before the interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale

Experience



Experience of working in an externally facing role with responsibility for client/account management Experience of working with employers and community partners Excellent track record of achieving targets associated with income and recruitment of student numbers Experience of supporting progression and achieving job outcomes for learners. Experience of the interpretation of information and data sets to inform and enable the creation of training plans. Experience of monitoring and creating actions against KPIs
