Employment Advisor
Job Description
Living Well Consortium is recruiting in collaboration with Our Roots for an Employment Adviser. The Employment Advisers will work within an employment advice service within NHS Talking Therapies. The service aims to support service users seeking psychological therapies with their employment needs.
The post holder will work with clients experiencing mental health problems who also need access to employment advice. Their work will be led by the aspirations of service users and will involve conducting assessments as well as creating individual action plans to support service users in finding employment, retaining employment, or in their return to work.
Applicants should have a minimum NVQ level 3 or equivalent along with experience providing vocational or employment support. Experience of working within mental health would be advantageous. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to inspire and motivate.

Working hours:
37.5 hours per week
Salary:29,716.31 pro rata per annum
Hybrid working Fixed term until March 2026Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 29,716.31 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Birmingham B7 4TS
