JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE:

TT Employment Adviser (ref: EA/TT) REPORTS TO: Senior Employment Adviser -

TT HOURS: 35 hours per week over 5 days PAY SCALE: 28,000 FIXED TERM: To 31.3.2026 (Potential for the contract to be extended, pending government funding)

A. PURPOSE OF THE JOB: o To reflect the ethos and aims of Status Employment. B. PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

Supporting people who have experienced mental health problems to retain or gain employment. Advising and working with practical and emotional issues e.g. disclosure, careers advice, reasonable adjustments, interviews, CV/application techniques, low confidence/self-esteem. Advise on organisational and procedural employment issues e.g. Disciplinary, Grievance and Dismissal matters. Working collaboratively with other Employment Advisers and also Therapists within the Lambeth Talking Therapy service. Liaising with relevant people involved in the candidate's life e.g. family/carers/healthcare professionals (with candidate consent). Liaising with employer representatives to assist in a sustained return to work (with candidate consent and only where necessary). To coach and support clients into a new job and support them to sustain the outcome C. OTHER DUTIES: Advisors may be required to provide support for their colleagues' applicants/employees and clients/employers at times of annual leave and sickness in order to ensure the vital network of support is maintained. To work flexibly, as required. This may require some working outside of normal office hours. As appropriate to assist or lead in presentations to outside organisations or internal workshops e.g. Job seeking; interview preparation. Such other duties as required by your manager
