The role





The Employment & Skills Coordinator supports Berkeley Homes Capital's commitment to skills development and social value delivery. The role ensures Section 106 and company-wide obligations are met by increasing apprenticeships, engaging with local communities, and fostering pathways into construction careers.Deliver Employment and Skills Plans (ESPs) and Section 106 commitments in partnership with councils and project teams. Build relationships with schools, colleges, training providers, charities, and subcontractors to create employment and training opportunities. Support apprentices, work experience placements and local residents into sustained employment. Monitor, track, and report apprenticeship and training performance against company and project targets. Coordinate national initiatives (e.g. National Apprenticeship Week, Open Doors) and facilitate site visits and career events. Provide pastoral support for apprentices and local recruits on site.


Experience required





Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience in coordinating training, recruitment or employability programmes. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and reporting requirements. Proactive, reliable, and able to work across diverse teams and communities. Confident with data tracking and Microsoft Office.
