Employment Coordinator
to lead our iWork programme--supporting young people in Perth & Kinross to move into training, education, or employment.
This role is perfect for someone with experience in employability or youth work who thrives on supporting others and building strong local partnerships.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain relationships with local youth agencies, schools, and partner organisations
Identify and engage young people who would benefit from support
Carry out assessments and create personalised action plans
Provide one-to-one coaching, career advice, and motivation
Work closely with the Training Coordinator and Support Worker to ensure a smooth experience for trainees
Support young people with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation
Monitor progress, record outcomes, and prepare reports for funders
WHAT YOU BRING
? Experience in youth employability, careers guidance, or community work
? Excellent communication and partnership-building skills
? Confidence supporting young people with complex or multiple barriers
? A good understanding of local support services and employment pathways
? Strong organisational skills and experience tracking progress and outcomes
