We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Employment Paralegal

to join our busy and supportive team in Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in employment law who is looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting solicitors with a wide range of employment law matters, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy, settlement agreements, and tribunal claims. Drafting documents, correspondence, and contracts of employment. Conducting legal research and preparing case summaries. Liaising with clients, witnesses, and external parties in a professional and efficient manner. Supporting fee earners in preparing cases for hearings and negotiations. Managing administrative tasks, including file management and maintaining accurate records.

About You:

Previous paralegal experience, ideally within employment law (though strong candidates from other practice areas will be considered). A law degree, LPC, or equivalent qualification. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships. Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
