We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Employment Solicitor to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice and representation in employment law matters, ensuring compliance with current legislation while advocating for clients' rights. This role requires a strong understanding of employment law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
Duties
Provide legal advice on a range of employment law issues, including contracts, disputes, and workplace policies.
Represent clients in negotiations and at tribunal hearings, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and other related documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
Conduct thorough research on employment law matters to provide informed guidance to clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may impact clients' rights and obligations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout the legal process.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for case management and client representation.
Requirements
Qualified solicitor with a valid practising certificate in England and Wales.
Strong knowledge of employment law principles and practices.
Proven experience in handling employment law cases from inception through to resolution.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in legal documentation.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues alike.
