We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Employment Solicitor
to join and lead the growth of our
Employment Law department
at our
Cardiff Head Office
.
Role:
Permanent position within our Employment Law team.
You will be required to develop and expand our Employment Law offering by:
Building and running a caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Handling matters for both claimants and respondents, including unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, TUPE, redundancies, and employment contracts/policies
Winning new business and developing relationships with local businesses, HR consultancies, and professional networks (a strong referral base is advantageous)
Undertaking marketing and business development initiatives to promote our firm-wide Employment Law services
Working alongside the Managing Director to implement strategic growth and performance initiatives
Requirements:
Applications are open to qualified solicitors with a minimum of
3 years PQE
Must have strong experience in both contentious and advisory Employment Law matters
Experience of independently managing a full caseload from instruction to conclusion
Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members, and contribute to a culture of growth and development
Demonstrated success in business development and networking
Strong client care and communication skills
The role is based at our Cardiff office, with a preferred minimum of
4 days in-office
and
1 day remote working
The preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset
, with the ambition and commercial awareness to actively contribute to the development of the department and wider firm

to support their progression into a senior leadership position within the firm
