You will offer expert support on both contentious (employment disputes, tribunals) and non-contentious (advisory, compliance, transactional) employment law matters to a variety of commercial clients.

Responsibilities
Advise clients on a broad spectrum of employment law matters, including conduct, absence, discrimination, TUPE, redundancy, and settlements.
Provide practical, commercial advice both by telephone and written correspondence.
Manage a caseload comprising contentious (employment tribunal, dispute resolution) and non-contentious (contract review, policy drafting, compliance) legal work.
Liaise with HR, managers, and business stakeholders to deliver pragmatic legal solutions.
Keep up to date with developments in employment law and share best practices with colleagues and clients.
Maintain accurate and thorough case management records.
Handle volume advisory work while delivering high-quality client service.
Requirements
UK-qualified solicitor with 2-4 years' post-qualified experience (PQE) in employment law.
Proven experience in both contentious (litigation/tribunal) and non-contentious (advisory/compliance) employment law matters.
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume caseloads and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and client relationship skills.
Practical problem-solver with commercial and detail-oriented approach.
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR practices.
Confident working independently as well as part of a team.
Based in, or willing to relocate to, Manchester.
