Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Employment Solicitor

to join our team. This is a full-time, office-based position focused on advising and representing clients in employment law matters. The successful candidate will be confident managing a varied caseload independently, including both contentious and non-contentious employment issues.

Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on a broad range of employment law matters, including dismissal, redundancy, discrimination, workplace disputes, and contracts. Draft employment contracts, staff handbooks, settlement agreements, and other employment-related documentation. Handle employment tribunal claims from initial instruction through to representation at hearings. Negotiate on behalf of clients to achieve effective resolutions. Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards. Keep up to date with legislative developments and case law in employment law. Where required, collaborate with colleagues across immigration and civil law practice areas.

Requirements

Newly Grad to 2 years' post-study legal work experience. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and tribunal procedures. Proven ability to handle both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Strong client care skills and ability to work independently. Experience in immigration or civil law will be considered an advantage.

Salary & Benefits
