Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and ambitious
Employment Law Solicitor
to join our busy and expanding Employment Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to handle a varied and stimulating caseload, ranging from individual employee matters to complex employer-side disputes. The successful candidate will play a key role in advising, representing, and growing our client base while working in a supportive and professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
Advise on unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, whistleblowing, and breach of contract claims.
Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and advocacy.
Draft and advise on contracts of employment, staff handbooks, settlement agreements, and workplace policies.
Provide advice and representation for both employees and employers.
Keep up to date with developments in employment law and advise clients proactively.
Support business development by building relationships with existing and new clients.
Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and firm procedures.
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (2-5 years PQE preferred, though all levels considered).
Solid experience in employment law, both contentious and non-contentious.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Strong communication and client care skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice.
Ability to work independently while being a team player.
Proactive, commercially aware, and committed to delivering results.
Must be available for a
full-time, office-based role
in Central London.
