Honeycomb Dental Clinic

We are an independent practice in Winscombe with a community sense. In recent years, Winscombe has been named one of the top three places to live and bring up a family in England and Wales. Access to very good schools and good living standards. Located in a well affluent area only 25/30min from Bristol or 20min from Weston-Super-Mare.

(Some of our current clinicians live in or around Bristol or around Weston-Super-Mare)

Our mixed practice has been established for over 20 years and has a mature list of patients as well as a waiting list for private and payment plan patients.

Five surgeries; Fully computerized; Digital Radiography; Rotary Endo; Modern Dental Chairs with LED operating lights; High-end Restorative Materials; Decontamination Room; and more.

As well as generalist dentistry we deliver specialities (or special interest) in Aesthetics and Periodontics

Support from a Manager and Deputy Manager, an allocated nurse, healthily-booked Hygienist/Therapists, 3 Receptionists and a Decontamination Lead. Great Working-Bees Team :)

In early 2024 we have operated a successful conversion from NHS to Private/Denplan and we only hold a small list of NHS patients. We currently have the contribution of 4 fully booked dentists.

Days and frequency to be discussed;

The right candidate would join a supportive Team and work along with Therapists and Dentists. Our Head Therapist is a Tutor at Bristol Dental Hospital.

We would love to work with you in delivering high quality in Endodontics. whilst supporting in developing your skills and knowledge.

Opportunity to grow and innovate the private specialist service, shaping its future and scalability. Potentially working on referrals.

Established and maintained list of regular patients and ever increasing number of new private patients.

Salary expectation of 50% of gross income

When the weather allows, we like to sit outside in our 'secret' private wild garden, socialising and watching nature go by... Previous residents: Mumma Fox and 3 cubs; Current residents: Newts and frogs in the pond; Nesting birds. Regular visitors: different species of bees, birds and damselflies.

Our fruit trees and bushes give out plumbs, blackberries and apples. One of our patients picks and presses our apples into lovely apple juice which gets shared amongst the Team every year. What a sweet perk!!!
