Our Security Operations team is expanding, and we have a new opportunity for an Endpoint Security Specialist to join us. This is a senior role in the team, helping to protect and drive improvements to Kingfisher's global technology estate by strengthening our endpoint security posture. Your work ensures our systems remain resilient against evolving threats, supporting Kingfisher's purpose of making home improvement accessible and secure for everyone.
This role will be based at our Kingfisher Head Office in Paddington, with an expectation of 12 days a month in the office.
What's the job?:
Own and optimise Kingfisher's endpoint security tools and services to maximise value.
Configure, test, and deploy endpoint security policies in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
Work with internal teams to ensure that endpoint security alerts are correctly triaged and managed by L1/L2 teams, or automation where possible.
Lead vulnerability assessments and drive timely remediation across end-user, server, and mobile devices.
Produce actionable metrics and KPIs to evidence improvements in endpoint security posture.
Enforce endpoint security standards and support compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Identify emerging threats and lead continuous improvement initiatives for endpoint security architecture.
What you'll bring:
This role will suit a strong communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for endpoint security and ability to bring a high level of energy, enthusiasm and creativity. In addition, from a technical point of view we are looking for:
Proven experience in endpoint security, including EDR platforms, threat detection, and vulnerability management.
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, plus scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with compliance requirements such as GDPR and PCI DSS.
Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies.
Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and policy driven controls.
