Job Description

Energytest Ltd are seeking an Energy Assessor to join our expanding team in the South Yorkshire region.



This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join an established company and to develop their career accordingly.



Experience in energy assessment is preferred but not essential as full support and training will be provided.



The successful candidate will:



Have experience with SAP or SBEM assessments. Qualifications in OCDEA, NDEA, DEA (or another related field) preferred, but not essential

Have knowledge/experience in relevant areas of construction

Have an interest in energy performance and assessment of buildings

Be competent with IT (word/excel) - full training provided for bespoke software

Be able to work part of a team as well as alone

Work in a proactive manner to ensure the demands of our clients are met


You will be provided with:

The role involves:



Undertaking SAP and/or SBEM assessments

Undertaking Overheating (TM59) assessments

Production of energy/sustainability statements and low carbon assessments

Offering advice/consultancy to clients

Producing reports/certification for Building Control submission and planning applications


Salary: 25,000 to 45,000 (dependant on qualifications and experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-45,000.00 per year
