Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with an international brokerage and clearing company with a specialism across the derivatives market. Our client is looking to add a broker to their energy department in London who can bring both Listed and OTC business.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain client relationships within the energy industry (Crude, Natural Gas, Coal, Fuel Oil, Gasoil, Gasoline, Naphtha etc) across corporates/institutions
• Execute energy trades by voice/electronic execution in line with client's requests
• Actively grow client portfolio of both listed and OTC business through sales/business development with a focus on Crude, Natural Gas, Coal, Fuel Oil, Gasoil, Gasoline, Naphtha
• Network within the market to grow your presence and keep up to date on movements and news
• Work with management to create strategies to increase revenue generation potentials through desk development/new niches/new markets etc

Requirements:

• Must be already working as a Broker covering Energy products (Crude, Natural Gas, Coal, Fuel Oil, Gasoil, Gasoline, Naphtha)
• Experienced with both voice/electronic execution
• Futures/Options experience on both listed and OTC contracts
• Eligible to work in UK and commutable to London
• Excellent comprehension of international energy market
• Must be able to successfully bring a book of energy business
