Job Introduction

We are excited to be expanding our team and introducing new enforcement roles within our Environmental Health service. As part of this development, we are looking for two proactive and committed Enforcement Officers to help shape and deliver this important area of work.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, friendly and forward-thinking team that covers a wide range of Environmental Health responsibilities, including:

Pollution control Statutory nuisance (commercial and industrial premises) Animal health and welfare Air quality Health and safety Planning and licensing consultations

We are seeking individuals with enforcement experience who are enthusiastic about contributing to a service that makes a real difference to protecting public health. You'll need excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements:



A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (travel across the borough is essential). Flexibility to work outside core office hours as required to meet service needs.

Hours: 37 per week


Salary: Grade 8: 35,412 - 38,220 (depending on experience)


Location: 3-5 St James's Road, Dudley, DY1 1HZ (Currently this position has a mixture of home, office and district working).
