Engagement Coordinator - Cheshire East: Inspiring Futures



Location:

Crewe & Macclesfield- Office-based (full-time) with community outreach


Salary:

Starting salary 24,570, rising to 25,552 (upon successful completion of your 9-month probationary period)


Driving license and own vehicle are essential for this role.



About the Programme



Inspiring Futures - Cheshire East is a voluntary programme supporting individuals aged 16+ who are economically inactive, including those with disabilities or health conditions.


This programmes follows the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model.


Our goal? To help people move into meaningful paid or voluntary employment through tailored, specialist Supported Employment.


The Role



As

Engagement Coordinator

, you'll be the friendly face of the programme--building and growing relationships across the region to promote Inspiring Futures and open up referral pathways.


You'll connect with local partners like Youth Fed, Salvation Army, Disability Information Bureau, housing providers (e.g., Plus Dane, Great Places), and community organisations like food banks and adult social care teams. Your work helps ensure participants have a seamless, supportive journey into the programme via trusted 'warm introductions'.


You'll be based in either the

Crewe or Macclesfield

offices, with

regular travel between the two as well as community outreach

(travel expenses covered beyond base offices).


What You'll Be Doing



Rolling out our engagement strategy across Cheshire East, building strong referral pipelines Achieving a target of customer starts on programme Working with internal teams and external partners to drive programme performance Delivering presentations, workshops, and engagement events--virtually and in-person Collaborating with local stakeholders (Local Authorities, GPs, Mental Health Teams, Chambers of Commerce, etc.) Coordinating and attending engagement meetings to ensure wraparound support Supporting operations by targeting outreach where it's needed most Assessing customers suitability for the programme
