We are seeking a positive, proactive, and values-driven Engagement and Events Officer to help grow Trevi's income and impact. This role is central to our mission--developing and delivering inspiring engagement opportunities that connect people to our cause.

In this role, you will:

Build and nurture strong external relationships

Increase supporter engagement through events, campaigns, and communications

Collaborate across business development, marketing, communications, and service delivery teams

We're looking for a positive, proactive and values-led engagement and events officer to help grow Trevi's income and impact. This is a new and exciting role that will support Trevi's mission by identifying, developing and delivering strategic engagement opportunities.

You'll help build strong external relationships, increase supporter engagement, and drive income and influence through events, campaigns and communications.

As part of a small but ambitious team, you'll work closely with colleagues across business development, marketing, communications, and service delivery.

Job Role profile



You'll be joining a team that collaborates closely to:



Grow and maintain engagement channels through a variety of platforms and tools

Drive engagement with stakeholders, individuals and corporates

Deliver high quality two-way communications internally and externally

Learn and improve based on ongoing monitoring and evaluation.

Manage, develop, and grow financial pathways through proactive outreach

This role will predominantly focus on:



Events



Plan, organise and deliver high-quality events from concept through to delivery and evaluation, including community fundraisers, launch events, donor briefings and stakeholder events (e.g. Reclaim the Night, Warrior Women Walk)

Support third-party fundraising initiatives and ticketed events

Identify and support opportunities for Trevi to speak, present or partner at relevant events

Partnerships



Build and maintain positive relationships with corporate partners, community groups, and regular donors

Support the development of tailored proposals, engagement packages and partnership presentations

Coordinate delivery of partnership benefits, impact reporting and stewardship activity

Collaboration and delivery



Work closely with colleagues to gather and share powerful stories across Trevi's channels, using photos, video and written content

Liaise with internal teams and external partners to coordinate campaigns and events

Maintain accurate records using Trevi's CRM and support regular monitoring and evaluation

Donor engagement and stewardship



Support the cultivation and conversion of Trevi's individual supporters and donors

Create engaging content and donor communications, including thank-you processes and impact reporting

Use insight and data to track and improve supporter engagement

Person Specification



Essential Knowledge & Qualifications

Educated to degree level, or equivalent experience.

Understanding of engagement, fundraising or marketing principles.

Empathy for, or willingness to learn about, trauma-informed and women-centred approaches.

Desirable Knowledge & Qualifications

Familiarity with the charity sector or income diversification models.

Knowledge and understanding of digital platforms such as Mailchimp, WordPress, SharePoint or social media tools.

Understanding of fundraising platforms and digital giving tools.

Essential Experience

Significant experience of income generation.

Demonstrable experience of delivering high-quality events.

Experience of writing fundraising or campaign content.

Experience of leading community or corporate relationships.

Experience of reporting, evaluation and impact of events/campaigns.

Experience of public speaking and creating slide content.

Experience of using MS Office.

Desirable Experience

Experience in the women's, health, justice or recovery sectors.

Experience of bid writing or grant applications.

Experience of using CRMs (e.g. eTapestry or Enthuse)
