The role and responsibilities



Role





We're looking for an Engagement Lead Associate to design and deliver activities that build awareness and understanding among our external stakeholders, invite their views, and work in partnership with them to support our organisational objectives. You will manage a portfolio of external engagement on a broad range of topics.

Responsibilities





develop, deliver and evaluate partnership and engagement plans, products, events and activities to support the delivery of TPR's strategic priorities and corporate plan commitments, and in alignment with the communications strategy. establish and maintain effective relationships with representatives of employers, savers, schemes, practitioners, professional bodies and associations to capture their insight and feedback, and to promote our messages through their channels. provide expert advice and briefings to colleagues to guide their engagement activities. analyse and measure external engagement interactions and data and generate actionable insights to support decision-making. support the Engagement Manager with the delivery of other activities, as needed, by working collaboratively with the rest of the team and contributing to the continuous improvement of team systems, processes and ways of working.

The role criteria





Essential Criteria



In-depth knowledge of stakeholder management with a minimum 2 years of experience in stakeholder management, public affairs, communications or other similar function. Excellent communication skills, able to make reliable judgments about which messages should have priority, what level of detail is appropriate, how to adapt communications for specific audiences and to select the most suitable channels for achieving the communications objectives. Effective networker, able to build and manage relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders - from internal TPR staff to representatives of employers, savers, schemes, practitioners, professional bodies and associations. Experienced planner, able to set targets, identify priorities, negotiate deadlines and manage activities for delivering work. Knowledgeable in using data, systems, tools and solutions to generate insights to support decision making, designing, delivering and evaluating plans and activities. Flexible team player, able to work in a fast pace changing environment, embodying our values of collaboration and passionate about furthering our vision.


Desirable criteria



Experience of working in the financial services or pension sectors. Working knowledge and experience of using a relationship management/marketing tool such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.

The team





You will be part of the Marketing and Engagement team, which is a multi-disciplinary division that provides engagement channels and compelling behaviour change solutions to the market at scale. As part of the Engagement function, you will provide stakeholder engagement support via market engagement channels including panels and events.
