Duties to Include

Dismantling old engine assemblies Cleaning and preparing components Cylinder block testing Crankshaft testing Cylinder head testing Specialist machining and engineering of components Engine re?assembly Reading, understanding, and implementing technical instruction data and improved working practices Retaining original customer items and disposing of any items no longer required using correct and approved methods Maintaining a clean, tidy, organised, and safe working environment in line with health and safety requirements Working efficiently to minimise lost, non?revenue, or diversionary time, ensuring all such time is recorded accurately and completely Completing all work to the highest standard to ensure total customer satisfaction and encourage repeat or incremental business Seeking opportunities to exceed customer expectations through the quality and completeness of work performed

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or other industry?approved training scheme City & Guilds qualification or equivalent industry?approved certification Experience in engineering, machining, bench assembly work and/or engine work Training in and adherence to best practice manual handling methods Strong problem?solving abilities High attention to detail Completion of manufacturer training courses and ongoing maintenance of knowledge relating to work methods and technical data
