Responsibilities
response to breakdowns, fault-finding and diagnosing faults , and offering solutions when required.
Carry out installations, and adjustments across a variety of machines and equipment - not just lifting equipment
Support specialist project builds, from preparation to full assembly and installation.
Assisting with Contract Lifting, working on vital infrastructure repairs and completing essential maintenance on shutdowns/outages, and machinery relocations
Examination of Lifting and Working at height equipment on site and in house and completing repairs to lifting equipment
To be considered for this role, you should have
A Recognised engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship.
Experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Fitter or Fabricator who likes to do a variety of tasks
Strong customer service skills & Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices
Good written and spoken English
A clean UK driving licence - must be able to travel nationwide with some overnight stays
Must be flexible. Work independently, as well as a team player
Any of the following training/qualifications would
be desirable, but not essential
, we will provide this training if needed: IPAF, Fork Truck, CSCS cards, safety passport, Work at height, confined space training, NSL Lifting qualifications/ or LEEA qualifications and Slinger/signaller qualifications
Must be ok with Working at height
