Job Overview:



We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Engineer Management team to manage and organise the daily schedules and assignments of our engineering team. This role is critical for ensuring that engineers are allocated to projects and service calls across our HVAC operations. The ideal candidate will liaise between engineers, project managers, and customers to optimise workflow and maintain timely project execution.



Key Responsibilities:




Schedule and assign engineers to projects, site visits, installations, maintenance, and service jobs based on priority, skillset, and availability. Coordinate with operations teams to understand project timelines and requirements. Maintain and update the engineering team's calendar and daily job assignments. Communicate job details, locations, and schedules clearly to engineers and other stakeholders. Track engineer availability, travel time, and workload to avoid conflicts and overbooking. Assist in resource planning to ensure adequate coverage for ongoing and upcoming jobs. Monitor job progress and report delays or issues to management promptly. Maintain accurate records of engineer assignments, job status, and timesheets. Help manage emergency or last-minute scheduling changes effectively.




Qualifications:




Experience in scheduling, project coordination, administration or operations support -- preferably in HVAC, services. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable working with engineers and technical teams. Proficiency in scheduling or project management software. Ability to prioritise tasks, handle emergencies, and work in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
