Our Engineer Relationship department play a key role within the business, creating the bridge between our activities and inspiring volunteer Engineering Professionals from the partners we work with.

Our vision as a not-for-profit Company is to embed engineering into the fabric of every school, ensuring all children have the opportunity to engage with engineering from a young age.

The Role:



As our Engineer Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for:

Relationship Management with Partners and Engineers:

Partner and supporter facing whilst overseeing Engineer Relationship communications and operational, providing contract management, understanding needs and guiding partners through outreach and onboarding of their engineering professionals, and working with our Contract Managers.

Onboarding Support:

Working with our partners and supporters to bring their volunteers onboard, overseeing the process and working with our Engineer Relationship Administrator who will onboard and support our volunteer engineers further; identifying and removing barriers to engagement.

Value Proposition Development:

Continue to develop our value proposition to our Partners and volunteer Engineering professionals to further their engagement and impact including collaboration on further product development with colleagues to continue to put engineer engagement at the heart of what we do.

Reporting Engagement:

Track, report and promote volunteer engagement and share progression and success stories as part of our impact for the engineers, our funders, our internal teams and Account Managers.

Support Events:

be involved in and attend events to encourage engineer participation.

What You'll Get:

We're looking for:



A confident, self-motivated individual, capable of identifying and removing barriers. At least 2 years'+ experience in a customer-focused role Excellent relationship-management skills with the ability to listen and communicate credibly and effectively both verbally and in writing Excellent organisational skills supporting multiple contracts at the same time Experience in project management would be beneficial Confidence in communicating with stakeholders from the outset Setting and working to effective objectives and timescales Good digital skills with Microsoft 365, Excel and Outlook and experience of using a CRM system
