Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and practices, with a focus on system design and mechanical knowledge. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and implement engineering solutions that meet project requirements and enhance product performance.

Responsibilities

Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve engineering issues effectively. Utilise Simulink for modelling, simulation, and analysis of dynamic systems. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to develop automation solutions. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in design specifications. Create detailed designs using SolidWorks and CAD software for various engineering projects. Employ MATLAB for data analysis, algorithm development, and system modelling. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by interpreting schematics and technical drawings. Develop and implement test plans using LabVIEW to ensure product reliability and performance. Collaborate with team members on system design projects from concept through to completion.

Skills

Proficient in root cause analysis techniques for troubleshooting complex issues. Strong experience with Simulink for system modelling and simulation tasks. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes. Familiarity with GD&T standards for precise engineering documentation. Expertise in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design work. Proficient in MATLAB for computational tasks and data visualisation. Solid understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to read schematics accurately. Experience with CAD software for creating technical drawings and designs. Knowledgeable in LabVIEW for developing automated testing procedures. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative engineering solutions.
