As a Manufacturing Graduate Engineer, you will work alongside experienced Manufacturing Engineers, Production Managers, Specialists, and Team Leaders. You will use engineering principles and process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence across a wide range of activities. Under the guidance of senior personnel, you will:

• Apply your degree in Engineering or a related discipline to practical, real-world challenges
• Plan and manage your own workload within defined constraints, supported by technical mentors
• Provide technical assistance to manufacturing teams
• Liaise between engineering and production to support seamless operations
• Develop a strong working knowledge of manufacturing standards, processes, and procedures
• Contribute to achieving production plans, schedules, and cost targets
• Work accurately and independently in a fast-paced production environment
• Demonstrate a structured, disciplined, and safety-oriented approach
• Successfully complete the Manufacturing Graduate Programme and all mandatory training
• Utilise strong IT skills across a variety of software tools
• Proactively seek opportunities to deepen your skills and broaden your experience
• Apply lateral thinking to generate innovative solutions to complex manufacturing challenges

About the Role
As a result of continued success and the award of several major contracts, LMUK Ampthill is entering an exciting phase of growth. We are now seeking high-calibre Graduate Engineers to join our Manufacturing team, part of the wider Production Operations function.

Our Manufacturing function is a diverse and dynamic environment, encompassing:

• Production, Production Control, Materials Planning, and Stores
• Manufacturing Operations Engineering, including Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing Technologies, and Tooling Engineering
