As we continue to grow, we're looking to strengthen our Quality Control Department with the addition of an experienced and detail-oriented

Quality Inspector

. This is a critical role focused on ensuring that all components, whether manufactured in-house or sourced externally to meet the demanding standards required by our clients and industry.

The Role


You'll be responsible for performing detailed inspections on a range of precision-engineered parts and assemblies. These parts are often highly critical, so attention to detail and a thorough understanding of quality standards is essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities



Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of mechanical components to verify conformance Work from technical drawings, CAD files, and engineering specifications Operate and interpret readings from a variety of measuring equipment, including verniers, micrometres, gauges, CMM and digital non contact measurement. Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure full traceability for compliance and quality assurance Collaborate with engineering, machining, and assembly teams to address and resolve quality-related issues Identify and document non-conformities, and follow up with suppliers where necessary to ensure corrective actions are taken Review and verify supplier certification and documentation for accuracy and compliance

Essential Skills & Experience



Previous experience in a quality inspection or is looking to move from a precision engineering role. Proficient in the use of both traditional and digital measuring tools Experience with CMMs Strong understanding of precision manufacturing standards and tolerances Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Good IT skills, including confidence with Microsoft Office Strong communication skills and a methodical, solutions-focused approach
