Position Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Intern with a strong interest in Computer Science to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of a system that automates the creation of 3D models and engineering drawings. The internship will provide hands-on experience in software development and engineering design while working on a real-world project.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Work with the engineering team to analyse and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and requirements Assist in the development of an application and generate the algorithms to automate the drawing creation process Test and debug the system to ensure it meets project specifications Collaborate with team members to monitor and maintain the system, making improvements and updates as needed Learn and apply engineering design principles and standards Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to the project

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field Requires some coursework or experience in object orientated programming languages such as Visual Basic / VBA / C# Basic knowledge of 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills
