Engineering Lead / Principal Consultant - Consultancy - \xc2\xa3100-140k

Hybrid working (Offices by Liverpool Street)

We are working with an Australian-based consultancy that works with governments and global technology companies to help put their data to work in the real world.

They\'re working with a range of exciting technologies in their Data Platform team, such as AI and Machine Learning. As a business, they specialise in architecting modern data platforms for their clients.

In this position, you will set both technical and hiring strategies, working closely with the leadership team. You will lead both senior and principal engineers, helping to mentor and provide guidance to engineers.

The role will be client-facing, so you will need to have experience dealing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You\'ll also need to be well-versed in architecture, systems design and implementing best processes for your team.

The ideal candidate is someone from a consultancy background who has a strong technical foundation. Longevity in prior positions and line management experience are also ideal for the candidate going into this role.

They are looking for someone who is a leader but still technical, as you will be expected to be hands-on for 10-20% of your time.

Tech stack: Java, Kotlin, TypeScript, React, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Azure
