Summary

'We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team at our Bideford site. This pivotal role involves overseeing engineering projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that align with our company's commitment to excellence and innovation.'

Responsibilities

Lead and support the Engineering Team Ensure customer and project deliverables for both conformity and compliance are determined before transfer from Engineering into Manufacturing, including consideration to Health, Safety and Environmental constraints. Working with the Engineering Team, facilitate new enquiry or new concept projects from first discussions to help determine suitability and feasibility. Fully embrace both Lean Culture and initiatives to become an integral part of the business Monitor Engineering metrics such as quotation delivery performance to identify and implement improvement opportunities Support Engineering team development to increase resilience Provide guidance to the Management team on Engineering direction

Requirements

Experience of leadership Able to multi-task and organise Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Appreciation of Aerospace requirements Positive communicator and contributor with good leadership skills Proven experience in engineering management within manufacturing or related industries. Strong knowledge of systems engineering, CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and product development. Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Experience with project management tools is a plus.'
