Salary: Up to \xc2\xa3130,000 plus bonus and benefits

We are working with a scaling fintech firm who have been building out their London office over the past 3 years and they\'re still going.

They have become the popular choice for financial firms looking for complex cloud solutions for a number of issues they face every day, this can be from designing and developing secure plug-ins for traders to talk freely, through to archiving millions of live trades safely.

They need an innovative Engineering Manager to not only lead the team to success, but to ensure the business is getting the most of our their products, bring fresh ideas into the team, you\'ll have the opportunity to suggest and implement brand new features into their already successful products, over 20,000 customers rely on this business, with 22 of the top 25 Investment Banks included in this.

Experience you need as an Engineering Manager:

• Experience as an Senior Engineering Manager managing multiple Engineering Managers/Teams

• Extensive experience as a Software Developer (Java, React, Spring Boot etc).

• Experience building and managing highly scalable, distributed services, complex databases and Microservices.

• Extensive experience in building high quality software engineering teams and people management.

• Understanding of modern frameworks and Microservice architecture.

The role of an Engineering Manager :

• Most of your time will be spent on people management and growing and organise team structures. You will also be involved in design reviews and maintaining a high quality of code throughout the group.

• You will be leading a team of high performing software developers who focus on solving complex problems whilst responsible for the delivery of 5 teams across 3 product lines.

• Maintaining a highly collaborative environment, working alongside Product Managers, Test Managers and Development Leads in order to keep collaboration high within the business.
