Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented manager to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the overall success of the organization by planning, managing & monitoring engineering functions. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes, budgets & timelines and making any necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion

Your responsibilities:


Lead & supervise a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify & create solutions to technical problems Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures. Coordinate and direct projects, make detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities. Analyse technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects. Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment. Direct, review, and approve product design and changes Recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients. Set scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by top management. Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internally and externally

Skill sets/Experience we require:


6 plus years of engineering experience in a management role Analytical and mathematical mindset, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline driven environment
o Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience o Ability to work individually or as part of a team

Pedigree:


Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering * Master's degree in engineering management or business administration preferred
