We are recruiting an Engineering Manager to join our Building Operating Unit. As Engineering Manager you will manage autonomously all aspects of engineering and structural safety from prequalification and tender through to construction phases.
What you'll do:

  • Manage a team of Site Engineering
  • Develop and manage the projects temporary works schedule, overseeing the management of site temporary works activities
  • Develop a good working relationship with the clients team, consultants, sub-contractors and external parties to ensure the successful execution of all project specific engineering matters
  • Ensure all project specifications, quality requirements and industry good practices are followed throughout the project
What you'll bring to the role:
  • Have attained CEng status with Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of site engineering from tendering to handover
  • In depth and up to date knowledge of engineering practices, processes and technologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong management skills
  • Good understanding of structural design
  • IT proficient in Excel, Word, Auto CAD, PowerPoint
