You will\xe2\x80\xa6

  • Ideally be educated to degree level in an engineering related discipline and be NEBOSH accredited. It is essential that you have experience of leading a team and preferably in a food and drink production environment.
  • Have excellent leadership, interpersonal communication, negotiating and influencing skills along with analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Drive safety to the top of every agenda, ensuring full compliance with all legislative requirements and that safe ways of working are second nature and complied with across all teams.
  • Lead, develop and coach the engineering team to perform at the highest possible standards to meet and surpass the site\'s KPI\'s.
  • Stimulate an inclusive culture, with empowered, qualified, highly competent and motivated people and where continuous improvement is actively encouraged to constantly improve year on year performance and results.
  • Lead and deliver the Asset care strategy improvement plan defined through our continuous implement strategy \xe2\x80\x9cBrilliance in the Making\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Assist the Head of Operations with the preparation and delivery of the annual revenue budget to ensure optimum utilisation of resources and delivery of manufacturing best practices.
  • Draw up capital project proposals and feasibility studies, and ensure, where approved, purchasing, installation and commissioning are delivered within the agreed success criteria using the latest technology and planning techniques.
  • Measure of asset performance by the effective forward planning of all maintenance, overhaul and servicing schedules, including maintenance of site PPM system and effective management of engineering stores , to maximise the uptime of all production equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Production management team to proactively initiate and implement continuous improvements across the site to provide high levels of plant flexibility which will improve reliability and efficiencies and support the strategy of stock reduction.
