We have an opportunity for an experienced
Engineering
Manager
to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role would suit a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving operational excellence, team development, and high-quality service delivery.
We are looking for a proactive leader who not only drives operational excellence but is passionate about developing engineering talent through structured training programs and continuous skill enhancement.
In the role you will be:
Overseeing the daily management and performance of the Engineering team, ensuring health and safety standards are met.
Leading, motivating, and inspiring the engineering team to achieve strong engagement and performance.
Driving efficiency and effectiveness across the team while maintaining full compliance with planned maintenance schedules, statutory inspections, PNA's, LOLER defect management, and work in progress.
Delivering exceptional engineering service to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction, supporting contract retention and creating opportunities to grow external revenue.
Strengthening business relationships between Briggs Equipment and designated Key Accounts, ensuring consistent customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Communicating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
Drive technical excellence by implementing training programs, closing skill gaps, and embedding a culture of learning and compliance--ensuring engineers are fully equipped for plant and groundcare maintenance, diagnostics, and statutory standards.
What will help you to excel in this role:
A technical background within the Material Handling Equipment, Plant, Agricultural or ground care equipment.
Proven experience in leading and managing a team effectively.
Excellent communication and IT skills
Commercial awareness and business acumen.
