The Role
To take accountability for all aspects of equipment, maintenance and safe operation of maintenance tasks, environmental issues at the Site. To act as the key link between the Managers of department of the site to leverage Engineering expertise to deliver the departments agreed food, people and site safety, maintenance priorities and innovative projects. To represent Engineering as a value adding, 'role model' function inside and outside of the site. To take accountability for the delivery of Engineering people within the Site.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a team of 10+ Engineers
• To effectively implement planned preventative maintenance programmes across the Company ensuring effective usage of engineering personnel
• To monitor effectiveness of department utilising KPI statistical information and daily performance reports. To functionally and proactively develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce yield losses and reduce labour costs
• To analyse, prepare and present effective solutions to the senior management team
• To ensure all health and safety initiatives within the department are adhered to and monitored.
• Analyse discrepancies and implement corrective and preventative measures, obtaining regular reports to assess the success of these measures.
