Overview

We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in engineering principles and a passion for problem-solving. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and reliability.

Duties

Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve engineering issues effectively. Utilise Simulink for system modelling and simulation to optimise design processes. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design documentation. Create and modify 3D models using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and functionality. Employ MATLAB for data analysis, algorithm development, and system simulations. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to support the design and testing of mechanical systems. Interpret schematics to facilitate the development of electronic systems. Use CAD software for drafting detailed engineering drawings and layouts. Implement LabVIEW for automated testing and data acquisition systems. Participate in system design reviews to ensure all specifications are met.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in root cause analysis techniques and problem-solving methodologies. Experience with Simulink, PLC programming, GD&T, SolidWorks, MATLAB, CAD, LabVIEW, and mechanical systems is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information clearly.
