The Job Mission




This is a pivotal role in the heart of the UK's leading nuclear new-build programme.


You'll lead the operational delivery of a project-wide initiative to accelerate decision-making.


Your mission is to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of technical decisions.

Your future team's mission will include:



Leading weekly 'drum-beat' meetings to identify, prioritise, and track critical design decisions Driving the Lead Time Challenge initiative across engineering teams and delivery partners Engaging with delivery leads to unblock issues, identify risks, and escalate where needed Preparing detailed reports on progress, delays, and KPIs for multiple governance levels Coordinating performance reporting across contracts, engineering steps, and supplier interfaces Ensuring consistent and transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders Managing a shared admin resource responsible for dashboards and performance data Representing operational delivery performance in monthly and quarterly steering committees

Qualifications



Essential Skills and Qualifications



Degree-qualified in Nuclear, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering Minimum 3 years' engineering discipline experience Strong understanding of UK nuclear design and processes Skilled in project and delivery management Effective communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills Organised, analytical and detail-focused Able to drive high standards of safety and quality
