We are seeking experienced PhD graduates (must have completed their doctorate) from any engineering discipline to join our freelance academic review team. Your primary task will be to evaluate university applications from students applying to undergraduate or postgraduate engineering programs worldwide, ensuring academic quality, fit, and intellectual rigor. Whether your background is in mechanical, civil, aerospace, electrical, AI, or any other branch of engineering, we are open - AI/ML expertise is welcomed but not required. We value candidates with strong academic literacy, a keen eye for logic and clarity in student submissions, and familiarity with global admissions standards.

Compensation & Workload





~50 GBP per review (per application)



Flexible freelance schedule: work as few or as many cases as you prefer



Estimated annual income: 20,000-30,000 GBP, depending on volume and performance



Paid monthly via UK bank or international transfer

Location:



Remote - applicants from India, UK, Europe and other regions welcome

PhD must be fully completed in any field of engineering or applied science Excellent written communication skills in English Prior experience with academic reviewing, mentoring, or admissions consulting is preferred Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences are a strong plus Familiarity with global engineering education systems is helpful

Review and evaluate student application documents (personal statements, research summaries, CVs) for engineering programs Provide written feedback on academic structure, technical content clarity, and logical flow Assess academic fit based on program requirements and student's background Ensure originality and alignment with top-tier university expectations Collaborate with our internal academic team on quality standards and case escalation where needed
