The Engineering Planner Scheduler / Stores Co-ordinator is responsible for owning the planning and scheduling of all preventative and corrective maintenance activities and maintaining stores stock levels and creating the working packages required for engineering maintenance tasks. This will include the ordering of parts, maintaining stock levels and review of supplier performance, working closely with the Engineering Manager, Operations and the wider team. The job holder will ensure that maintenance work is well prepared, prioritised and delivered safely, efficiently and in line with site and business objectives.
This is a key role in reducing reactive maintenance, improving asset health and supporting operational performance in a fast-paced Manufacturing environment.

Work Content (Responsibilities)
Own the end-to-end planning and scheduling of preventive, planned and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring work is optimised, prioritised and scheduled at least one week in advance where practicable.
Develop maintain and continuously improve high quality maintenance plans, including accurate labour, materials and tooling, in line with operational requirements.
Manage stores inventory, order parts, review supplier performance and carry out audits on stock levels in line with business requirement.
Build and maintain a credible, achievable weekly maintenance schedule aligned with the site priorities, labour availability and operational constraints.
Lead the weekly scheduling process, ensuring clear communication and challenge commitment from Engineering, Operations and key stakeholders.
Maintain accurate, complete and reliable CMMS (CARL) data, including work orders, task lists asset care plans, BOMs and maintenance history.
Act as the CARL super or key user for the site, supporting standard ways of working, system compliance and UK CARL team member.
Monitor maintenance compliance through agreed KPI`s, using data to improve schedule compliance, reduce downtime and support effective decision making.
Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes, challenging inefficiencies and supporting RCA analysis and improvement activities.
Demonstrable ability to lead, motivate and implement change at all levels.
