We are seeking an
Engineering Project Manager
to lead and deliver critical product development and engineering projects across our motorsport, defence, and industrial divisions. This role will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with design, production, and commercial teams to manage the full project lifecycle -- from concept and prototyping through to testing, certification, and customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional engineering projects, ensuring clear milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and risk registers.
Liaise with internal teams (Design, R&D, Production, Quality, and Sales) to coordinate resources and priorities.
Ensure product testing, compliance, and certification fits within project timing scope.
Provide regular project reporting to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Ensure customer requirements are captured, understood, and integrated into project delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and reporting.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience managing engineering projects in a manufacturing or technical environment.
Strong understanding of mechanical or electronic engineering principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
Desirable:
Background in motorsport, automotive, defence, or related safety-critical industries.
Knowledge of fire suppression systems, safety products, or certification processes.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management systems.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent).
