Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technical Administrator to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing abilities and a solid understanding of technical concepts, enabling them to create clear and concise documentation. This role is essential in ensuring that complex information is communicated effectively to various audiences. The Engineering Technical Administrator will collaborate with our shopfloor to produce high-quality manuals, guides, and other technical documents.

Responsibilities



Develop and maintain user manuals, technical documentation, and training materials. Collaborate with engineers and production managers to gather information and clarify technical details. Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and is easily accessible. Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Organise documentation into logical structures for ease of navigation. Managing and completing Special Quotations for the Hyperscale market. Creating and Updating Assembly Work Instructions. - Including implementing video work instructions using Creo Illustrate and Video Editing software. Managing Punch Tooling for Production and creating SAP requisitions for new or replacement tooling.

Requirements



Knowledge of assembly processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with 3D CAD software such as Creo Parametric and Creo Illustrate is desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders.

This role will also offer you a brilliant rewards package which includes:



A salary up to 32,000 depending on experience. Company bonus based on attendance, productivity, and quality. Life insurance 3 x your salary. Pension contributions matched to 5%. Core working hours to allow you flexible working from the start. 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) plus holiday purchasing scheme
This is a full-time position, based on 39 hours a week Monday - Friday
