Job Overview
LCM Engineering are a successful, well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Houghton Conquest, uniquely positioned to provide a one-stop, turn-key service for Automation, Tooling, Fixtures, Design, and Manufacturing.
The apprentice will work alongside LCM's skilled fitting team on a variety of projects. The role will involve a wide range of mechanical and pneumatic assembly applications within the automotive industry, including tool building, robot cell builds, automation systems, mechanical assembly, and fixturing.
You will also assist in the manufacture and fabrication of parts and equipment, carrying out final inspections of mechanical assemblies, machinery, and tooling, and helping to resolve any issues identified. In addition, you will gain exposure to different areas of the company, including the manual machine shop, design, and projects departments.
Training
Apprenticeship: Level 3 Engineering Fitter, you will be required to attend a day release at college 1 day a week and also keep up with coursework that is required of you to pass the course. A minimum of grade 5 in both Maths & Science is required.

Pay: From 18,000.00 per year
