Engineering Technician

to join our Building Engineering team based in our

Birmingham

office with flexible working arrangements.

What you'll be doing:




This is an exciting role for an individual looking to progress their career as an Engineering Technician within our industry leading team where we have an excellent reputation, offering a wealth of expertise in various sectors of the built environment. You will also:


Be involved with a range of projects including sustainable energy, commercial, residential, industrial and infrastructure where you will produce, and assist in Civil and Structural Engineering design modelling and drawing in accordance with the project requirements Prepare and produce General Arrangement (GA) and detailed engineering drawings using CAD and/or BIM software (Autocad, Revit), including reinforcement schedules Utilise Revit for modelling and drafting tasks related to engineering projects. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications. Assist in the documentation and coordination of technical data for construction projects. Conduct quality checks on drawings and schedules to ensure adherence to standards. Support the engineering team in project planning and execution phases.

Who we're looking for




Experience with working as a Revit Technician within the built environment Be proficient in the use of Revit and AutoCad Have a relevant HND qualification or equivalent relevant professional experience. Ideally have a professional qualification - Eng Tech. Be experienced in using Microsoft Office Software Good verbal and written communication skills Have great organisational skills to manage own deadlines and competing priorities Be motivated with initiative and comfortable with autonomy with an appetite to drive innovation Must be a team player
